PICTURE FRAMING INFORMATION EVENING

The PFGA invites you to participate in a Zoom meeting to be held on

Wednesday, 15 May 2024, commencing at 7.00pm (Victorian, NSW, and ACT);
6.00 in Qld, 6.30pm in SA and NT and 4.00pm in WA

It is anticipated that the meeting will conclude at 8.30pm, (Vic).

Shortly you will receive the Zoom link and instructions on how to use Zoom.  Once you receive the link, please register early as it is anticipated that there will be a high number of  attendees.

The meeting will facilitate the opportunity to network and participate in an informative discussion of all aspects of picture framing techniques, issues and items of interest.

PRESENTER MARK HEYDON

Mark Heydon, Proprietor and principal framer at Creative Framing, Burwood will lead a discussion regarding the selection of the appropriate picture framing products, techniques and processes relevant to best practice of stretcher construction, associated materials and presentation of the framed finished product.   

Mark has been a Picture Framer for 30+ years and has extensive experience framing a vast range of small and large items.  Mark also provides picture framing services for his customers.

Selection of appropriate materials, picture framing products and presentation techniques/methods relevant to each standard

This presentation will provide and encourage the participation of all picture framers.  

Assistance provided to the customer.  Do you explain the details and advantages and benefits of each standard to each customer?

The relevant costs and benefits of the different standards.

Appropriate advice for your customer.

You are invited to participate by asking questions, seeking and providing advice, and displaying examples of picture framing standards.

Robert and Sarina will provide an update of new products, (Mouldings, glass, matt boards, and accessories) and the trends in Picture Framing Supplies.

Their presentation is a follow up of their recent highly successful Australia wide “Trade nights”.
