Fine art care and treatment standards. F.A.C.T.S. (Fine Art Care and Treatment Standards) was organized in 1994 to make some sense out of the confusion in terminology and practices. Several committees were formed within this organization to write standards for materials and practices. The GAFP (Generally Accepted Framing Practices) is one of these committees.
